Celebration Herbals Licorice Root is a single-herb tea made from organic licorice root. It brews a naturally sweet, rich cup with no added sweetener.
Key features
- 24 tea bags (28 g net weight)
- Organic Licorice Root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
- Certified organic; KSA kosher (pareve)
- No flavorings, preservatives or sweeteners
How to use
Use spring or filtered water. Pour freshly boiled water over a tea bag, cover, and steep 5 to 7 minutes. For full strength, simmer one tea bag per cup of water for 10 to 20 minutes. Licorice root is not for long-term daily use; ask your health care provider first if you are pregnant, have high blood pressure or take medications.
Good to know
- Licorice root is naturally many times sweeter than sugar, so a single bag can sweeten a pot of other herbal tea.
- Celebration Herbals is part of Organic Connections, a family-owned herb and spice company founded in 1987.
