How to use
Use about one teaspoon of dried granules in place of one tablespoon of fresh zest. Add to muffins, scones, cookies, pound cake, marinades, salad dressings, rice dishes and herbal tea blends. Let it sit in moist batters a few minutes to soften.
Good to know
- The peel holds most of a lemon's aromatic oils, which is why zest tastes so intensely lemony.
