Frontier Co-op Organic Hawthorn Leaf & Flowers come from the hawthorn, a large group of shrubs and trees in the rose family native to Europe, Asia and North America. Hawthorn features brownish-white flowers, rose-like leaves and deep red berries; this blend uses the leaves and flowers, cut and sifted for tea.

  • Ingredients: organic hawthorn leaf and flowers (Crataegus spp.)
  • Sourced from Bulgaria
  • Certified organic and kosher
  • Non-irradiated, with no artificial ingredients

Suggested use: To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 5–10 minutes, strain and serve immediately. It blends nicely with hawthorn berries or hibiscus for a fuller cup.
