How to use
Add to chicken, fish, eggs, mushrooms, potato salad, vinaigrettes and creamy sauces, or steep in white wine vinegar to make tarragon vinegar. It is assertive, so start with a small pinch and taste as you go.
Good to know
- Tarragon is one of the French fines herbes, along with parsley, chives and chervil, and the signature herb in bearnaise sauce.
- Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, dry, dark cupboard, away from the stove, so the aroma and color last.
