Life Extension Specially-Coated Bromelain provides 500 mg of bromelain, the protein-digesting enzyme from pineapple stem, at 2,400 GDU per gram in each tablet. An enteric coating helps the tablet pass through the stomach so the enzyme can be released further along the digestive tract. Each tablet also supplies 75 mg of calcium.
