Life Extension Super Carnosine 500 mg provides 500 mg of L-carnosine in each vegetarian capsule. Carnosine is a compound made of two amino acids that is found naturally in muscle and brain tissue. This formula also adds 50 mg of thiamine, 50 mg of benfotiamine (a fat-soluble form of vitamin B1) and 4 mg of luteolin from Japanese sophora flower buds.
