NOW Foods Biotin 5000mcg

NOW Foods Biotin 5000 mcg offers 5,000 mcg (5 mg) of biotin in each vegetarian capsule, a moderate high-potency choice between everyday multivitamin levels and NOW's 10 mg extra strength.

Also called vitamin B7, biotin works as a helper for enzymes that break down food for energy, and it plays a part in the keratin structure of hair and nails. Many customers take it to support strong nails and healthy hair and skin. NOW lists it as vegan, non-GMO, kosher and free of gluten, dairy and soy.

Choose the 60 or 120 count bottle. NOW suggests 1 capsule daily with a meal. Biotin can throw off certain blood test results, so mention it to your doctor before lab work.
