NOW Foods I3C with Lignans provides 200 mg of indole-3-carbinol (I3C) and 200 mg of flaxseed lignan extract in each vegetarian capsule. NOW sells it as Indole-3-Carbinol (I3C) 200 mg.

I3C is a natural compound found in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage and Brussels sprouts, and flax lignans are plant compounds from flaxseed. Both are taken to support healthy estrogen metabolism and hormone balance, and I3C also has antioxidant activity. The capsules are vegan and kosher.

Each bottle holds 60 vegetarian capsules. NOW suggests 1 capsule one to two times daily with food, and recommends refrigerating the bottle after opening. Some sensitive people notice mild stomach upset; if so, reduce the amount or stop. Ask your doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing or taking medication.
