Siete Traditional Mexican Rice Seasoning brings the warm, savory flavor of classic arroz rojo to your kitchen in a single pouch. It makes the familiar style of Mexican rice you would serve with tacos, enchiladas and refried beans.
- Made with sea salt, garlic, onions, tomato powder, dried peas, dried carrots, chile peppers, cream of tartar and cumin
- One pouch seasons 1 cup of uncooked long-grain rice
- Cooks on the stovetop or in a rice cooker
- Also works with quinoa or vegetables, and in burritos and taco bowls
Suggested use: Rinse 1 cup long-grain rice and toast it in 1 Tbsp oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes, until lightly golden. Stir in the pouch for 30 seconds, add 2 cups low- or no-sodium broth or water, then cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Let it rest covered for 10 minutes and fluff with a fork.
