Tiger Balm Active Muscle Gel is an over-the-counter topical analgesic in a light gel made with methyl salicylate and menthol. It comes in a 2 oz (60 g) tube.
- Active ingredients: methyl salicylate 16%, menthol 8%
- Uses: temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, bruises, strains and sprains
- Light gel that rubs in easily
Suggested use: Over age 12: rub well on the affected area, 3 to 4 times daily. Age 12 and under: ask a doctor.
Caution: For external use only. Avoid eyes, mucous membranes and broken or irritated skin. Do not bandage or use a heating pad. Stop and ask a doctor if irritation occurs or pain lasts over 7 days. Ask a doctor if pregnant or nursing. Keep away from children. Read the Drug Facts label. Ask a doctor first if allergic to aspirin or salicylates.
