KAL Pantothenic Acid Tablets 250 mg provide 250 mg of pantothenic acid, also called vitamin B5, in each tablet. Other ingredients are cellulose, stearic acid, silica and magnesium stearate.

Pantothenic acid takes its name from the Greek word for "everywhere," because small amounts are found in so many foods. The body uses it to make coenzyme A, which supports energy metabolism, and it plays a role in healthy adrenal function and the production of fats and hormones. Customers often choose pantothenic acid on its own when they want more B5 than a multivitamin provides.
