NOW Foods AlphaSorb-C 500 mg is a buffered vitamin C formula in vegetarian capsules. Each capsule supplies 500 mg of vitamin C as calcium ascorbate with threonic acid, plus 40 mg of alpha lipoic acid, 100 mg of citrus bioflavonoids, and 25 mg each of rose hips and rutin.

Buffered vitamin C tends to be easier on the stomach than plain ascorbic acid, which makes this a good fit for people who find regular vitamin C too acidic. The formula adds alpha lipoic acid, citrus bioflavonoids, rose hips and rutin. NOW lists it as vegan, non-GMO and kosher.

This is the 180 vegetarian capsule bottle. NOW suggests 1 capsule 1 to 3 times daily, preferably with food.
